Day 3 - Singapore - 2/2/17

Singapore Exploring

I took the hotel shuttle bus over to Orchard Road the famous shopping street. Everything is much the same. All the usual shops plus bigger and better versions of; Tiffany's, Prada, Coarch, Michael Kors, Victoria's Secret and Louis Vitton (where they have a que outside to limit the number of people in the store). 

 Then I caught two subways to find Platform 1094- the Harry Potter themed restaurant.

I got the flaming blue cocktail- inspired by the Goblet of Fire

The food was delicious!

More subways to find Raffles Hotel.

 What a beautiful old building. So many ornate features.

I got lost several times but eventually made it to Marina Bay Sands to see Gardens by the Bay.

To save you from my terrible selfies I have substituted for a horse head 

This was the 'Australian' Garden... Native trees in Chinese style...

 This is Marina Bay Sands.  I had dinner at the top

These are called 'Super Trees'. They have a vertical garden outside a steel structure.

The view is incredible.  The city is so tall and extensive- Sky scrapers for kilometers...
